Sometimes a great testimonial shows up in an email, a DM, a Zoom chat, or a closed community where no public URL exists. Upload a screenshot and VideoTestimonials will import it as an image-style testimonial.
How to import a screenshot
- Go to Dashboard → Import → Manual.
- Click the Screengrabs tab.
- Drag and drop one or more screenshots, or click to upload. PNG, JPG, or WebP all work.
- Toggle Auto-highlight if you want the AI to pick out the most quotable part once the testimonial is in your dashboard.
- Click Save — the screenshots are imported and stored with the testimonial.
What gets stored
- The original screenshot(s) as the testimonial's media.
- The testimonial in your dashboard, ready to approve, tag, or add to a Wall of Love.
The screengrab is the source of truth; the quote itself is extracted when you later highlight quotes on the testimonial.
Tips
- Crop the screenshot before upload to remove chrome, UI, or unrelated content.
- Higher resolution captures reproduce better on your Wall of Love.
- For video chat screenshots, pair with a text testimonial tab for the caption and add the screenshot under the Text testimonial tab's optional images.
