You can't publish a customer's face and words without their permission. The Consent page asks the customer whether the testimonial can be used publicly, and the Private Feedback page gives customers an always-optional channel to share thoughts that stay private.
Consent page
Click CONSENT PAGE on the form canvas. The right sidebar exposes:
- Title — the heading on the page. Default: Visibility & Usage.
- Subtitle — short supporting copy.
- Public label — the label on the "publish this testimonial publicly" option.
- Private label — the label on the "keep this private to your team" option.
- CTA button text — the button that takes the customer to the next page.
The customer picks public or private before submitting. Private submissions land in your dashboard but don't show on any Wall of Love or widget.
Use the block toggle on the page header to include or exclude the Consent page entirely.
Private Feedback page
A separate always-optional page where the customer can leave private thoughts alongside their testimonial. Click PRIVATE FEEDBACK PAGE to edit:
- Title, subtitle, CTA button text
- Placeholder — the hint shown inside the text box
Whatever the customer types here stays internal — it never publishes.
Consent copy tips
Solid consent copy names the publisher (your brand), states where you'll use the testimonial (site, marketing, social), and is actively worded ("I give permission…" not "I won't object…"). Edit the public label and subtitle in the sidebar to match your voice.
