Reddit is a goldmine for candid, honest feedback. When a user writes a glowing comment about your product in a subreddit, you can import it as a testimonial.
How to import a Reddit post or comment
- Go to Dashboard โ Import โ Reviews & Other.
- Paste the Reddit thread URL, for example
https://www.reddit.com/r/saas/comments/abc123/how_we_used_x_to_grow/. - Click Import.
We pull the post title, body, and the top comments that mention your product or brand.
Supported URL formats
- Full thread URL:
https://www.reddit.com/r//comments/<id>/<slug>/ - Direct comment permalinks also work.
What gets imported
- Post title and body
- Username (imported as customer name โ
u/<username>) - Subreddit name (imported as company)
- Upvote count (used as social proof)
- Post date
Which comments are imported
When the thread has many comments, we pull the top-scoring ones. The post/thread itself is always included. If you only want specific comments, you can delete the unwanted ones from your Overview after the import lands.
Getting permission
Comments on Reddit are public but users own their text. Before publishing a Reddit testimonial publicly on your site, DM the redditor and get their okay. Most people are happy to be quoted.
