Single-testimonial widgets โ€” Single, Hero Quote, Highlight, Spotlight, Bubbles

When you want ONE testimonial to stop the reader in their tracks.

Sometimes you don't need a wall โ€” you need one perfect testimonial to anchor a page. Single-testimonial widgets give one quote maximum weight.

All five layouts are widget types you can create from the Widgets tab of Studio and customize via the shared Embed Settings panel (theme, colors, typography, max testimonials, avatar/rating/date toggles).

Single

One testimonial rendered as a big card. Pick which testimonial to show via the selected testimonial setting, or let it rotate through approved testimonials.

Good for: about pages, email signatures, footer blocks.

Hero Quote

A full-bleed landing-page hero treatment โ€” the quote becomes the primary headline, with the customer photo and company detail alongside.

Good for: landing page heroes, especially for SaaS and services where credibility is the primary message.

Highlight

A bold single testimonial with pull-quote typography treatment. Sits mid-page to break up copy.

Good for: long-form content (blog posts, case study pages) where you want a visual break and social proof in one move.

Spotlight

A focal testimonial with thumbnail faces of related testimonials below. Spotlight Style has three variants: gradient, image, or minimal background treatments.

Good for: case study pages where one testimonial is the hero but visitors might want to explore related stories.

Bubble List

Chat-style rounded bubbles with the customer's avatar floating next to each. Playful, conversational feel. (Internally called bubbleList in the widget type list.)

Good for: playful brands, consumer products, anywhere the tone is casual.
