When a customer submits a glowing testimonial, you want your whole team to see it immediately. Slack integration posts every new testimonial to your chosen channel with a clickable preview.
Connect Slack
- Go to Dashboard → Integrations → Connect & Share.
- Find the Slack card and click Connect.
- You're redirected to Slack's OAuth consent screen. Pick the channel you want notifications to go to and click Allow.
- You land back in VideoTestimonials with Slack connected — the card now shows the channel name.
What gets posted
For each new testimonial we send a message with:
- Author name and avatar
- First 200 characters of the quote (expandable)
- Star rating (if any)
- Deep link back to the testimonial detail in VideoTestimonials
- Quick Approve and Feature buttons
Click the buttons to act on the testimonial without leaving Slack.
Change the channel
Click Disconnect and reconnect to pick a different channel. We don't support multi-channel fan-out from one workspace yet — use webhooks if you need that.
Disconnect
Click Disconnect on the Slack card to remove the integration. Reconnect any time to re-enable notifications.
