Use your own domain for your testimonial walls and collection forms to maintain brand consistency and enhance trust with your audience.

Connect Your Custom Domain

To connect a custom domain to your VideoTestimonials account, follow these steps:

Open the Domains tab: Log in to VideoTestimonials and open the space you want to connect a domain to. The Domains tab is in the top navigation of that space. Direct link: https://app.videotestimonials.video/dashboard/branding.
Pick the Custom Domain sub-tab: The page opens on Subdomain by default. Switch to Custom Domain and enter the domain you want to use in the Domain Name field. Make sure you own this domain and have access to its DNS settings.

Update DNS Settings: Log in to your domain registrar's website and update the DNS settings. You need to create a CNAME record pointing your subdomain (e.g., testimonials.yourdomain.com) to videotestimonials.video.
- Type: CNAME
- Name: The subdomain you want to use (e.g., testimonials)
- Value: videotestimonials.video
Verify Your Domain: Return to the Domains tab in VideoTestimonials and click Verify. This will check if your DNS settings are correct and your domain is properly configured.
Confirmation: Once verified, your custom domain will be active, and you can start using it for your testimonial walls and collection forms.

DNS Propagation: Changes to DNS settings can take up to 48 hours to propagate. If your domain isn't verifying, wait a bit longer and try again.
Incorrect CNAME: Double-check that your CNAME record is correctly pointing to videotestimonials.video.
